🐠 Effective Saltwater Conditioner with Natural Nitrate Reduction Properties Review

I add 1/4 cup per 75 gallons once a week on my water change. My nitrates are down but I can't tell you how important that is. Phosphates are easier to eliminate. Nitrates are very difficult when you feed pellets or flakes. In another aquarium, which contains only frozen food, there are almost no nitrates and phosphates.

I have used this in my cycle to speed up the growth of bacteria that convert nitrates to nitrogen gas. I believe this is how this product works. I can say I saw huge nitrate drops 3 weeks after starting. Although labeled Instant Ocean, there are many fish chemical companies that make both freshwater and saltwater. I read the ENTIRE bottle. Even fine print. Little reduces nitrates and only slightly converts them back to ammonia. I check the water weekly. The aquarium is fine. 6.8 pH, 0 ppm ammonia, 0 ppm nitrite, 4.0 ppm nitrate. I should have known better that nitrates are low but I wanted my fish to enjoy cleaner water. They get 35% miller rate every month and I only had 2 weeks. I used this on my 36 gallons. Aquarium with freshwater rainbow fish in the bow, my grandson's 20 gallon. Molly, Swordtail in the freshwater aquarium and at work on a 7.5 gallon desktop. Tetra aquarium with low pH, soft water. My personal advice to a new user: when you put it on, turn off all your filters, attachments, etc. for 15-20 minutes and let them slowly sink to the substrate.
