I've been using this adapter for over a month now with a boombox I purchased from the local DMV. I removed the clear sticky over the metal part as others mentioned and the sound from my iphone 6 and it is great! Couldn't be happier, especially for how inexpensive the item was. Plus, this allowed me to update an old Sony boombox into a Pandora player. I am not clear how long it will last, but for the price, can't go wrong.

This adapter works exactly like it says. All you need to do is insert the cassette into your system and plug the cord into your headphone jack to play music.However, mine makes a continuous ticking noise like a normal cassette would do when its restarting. Unfortunately this does it at least once per second. For the price, this is super great. But when plugged in, it does produce a very low and subtle whirring sound as the cassette is reeled through. This may be a little off-putting to some. But not to me!

There is a massive price/hassle gap between this quick and dirty option and the other sleeker options for adding an AUX input to our '06 Lexus RX sound system. BEFORE YOU BUY THIS, you may want to know that it will probably not work in a newer car cassette deck. My 2005 Toyota Sienna has an automatic cassette deck that senses tape tension, tracking, etc. This will cause the deck to eject the adapter no matter how you try to put it in the player. Quality is very good. Although, there is a great deal of noise coming from the cassette even after reading other people's complaints about it and I even tried the fix of removing the plastic bit. It's a shame that the noise is loud because it is the best sounding audio I've ever with a product like this. Most likely will return it.

This product was packaged very well in a blister pack. It was shipped with proper packaging and the sound quality is not distorted or hindered by using this tape. I am very happy we purchased.We were able to quickly open this package and insert the tape. Works as expected with minimum setup time. For maybe 5 dollars, I bought this cassette tape aux. I was so excited to try it out and as soon as I did, my ears were blessed with clear, beautiful music coming from the speakers of my car. I have a 2005 Tahoe and use this daily on my 45 min commute to work, running errands, etc. It's simple to use but it does this thing (and I'm not sure if it's my Tahoe or the product) but it cuts out for about 3-4 seconds and you miss the music. Other than that it's a decent item.

The bluetooth product is, of course, wireless and produces a better quality sound for me.

This item worked for a while, but if you use it over two hours, it starts to heat up and not work. If you let it "cool off" in between, it seems to be okay. For the price, you really can't complain. If you plan to use this for one or two trips (we used it for an out of state trip) then it is probably all you need. If you're looking for something that is good quality and will last beyond that, I suggest a more expensive one. Not a bad deal though!

This works perfectly well with my iPhone but when music isn't playing and the cassette is still inside the car, there's the sound of the tape rolling coming out of it that could get bothersome if the car is silent. Other than that, it's all good!

Works perfect! I love how I didn't have to yank out my original stereo to play my music on the car speakers. I had no idea where to even start and really didn't wanna pay a ton of money and spend time researching a new player for the car.
