Don't waste your money on other brands. I could never get moisture anywhere near it until I bought this brand. Set up at ideal humidity for the first hour. Many Thanks. 100% will buy them again.

I've been using them for over two years and they still work, accuracy still depends on how it's measured! Herbs in a closed jar do not dry out after two years and remain fragrant!

They claim "Our proprietary technology either emits or absorbs moisture and maintains a 62% relative humidity in an isolated environment." 4 full jars of 20 oz Mason, humidity was 69% Two days later, the humidity is still 69%. Low humidity isn't my problem so I can't tell if these packs increase humidity, but they don't seem to lower it.

Humidity 57%. Place a new 8 gram pack of Boost 62% in a rock jar, close and wait 1 hour, after which the hygrometer in the jar will read 67%. Take the booster out of the jar and add 8g of Boveda. 62% humidity in a closed vessel drops to 62% within minutes. The replacement indicators on the booster packs are pink to show they are good (this applies to a clean, empty can). So my impression is that the packaging and replacement indicators make this product smooth, but for me Boveda is better…
