🍔 Deli Wrap Interfolded Wax Paper/Dry Waxed Food Liner - Jumbo Size 15" x 10¾", 500 Sheets Review

I've used this paper for screen printing, gel printing, mono printing, embossing, hot stamping, etc. It's much stronger than tissue paper and will withstand collage and wet Environments are wonderful and become quite translucent when wet, allowing you to layer them over swatches for subtle effects.

Sheets of paper always meet my expectations. Unfortunately, the transport packaging of this delivery was somewhat inferior. If individual boxes are crushed it may just be paper but difficult to keep clean for food use in a crumbling box. Good product. I highly recommend. I hope they come out in better shape next time.

They are great for storing and freezing food. I wrap meat in it, then in foil, and in bags - they don't burn when frozen, they're easy to remove from the meat, and they're convenient to wrap in sandwiches. the base on which I draw and make patterns with feathers, and they do not stick. Easy to clean as it is easy to recycle.

Not so good in Kabnet. This paper is about as thin as cigarette paper. It's got a smoother, shiny side that makes it look like it's holding on to a bit of moisture before soaking in, but it's really, really thin. Although I like the larger size and if I only use it for things that aren't likely to get wet or leak. I would use it but definitely not buy it again.

This is for artwork so there are pros and cons. All sheets have a crease down the middle, which isn't really a problem, although there have been sheets with small slits along the line. If it were food, it would probably mean a few wasted sheets. They became almost transparent after I applied acrylic medium to what I wanted. All leaves have jagged edges on the long sides. It remains to be seen if this will be an issue and if each of them will need trimming.

Ordered a size up before and they have been great. Ordered another box in September 2018 because the first box was almost half used and we wanted a new one ready to use. When we finally opened the new box a few days ago, we noticed that the leaves are much smaller. Why? They sent us a master size that is three inches too small. They put a tag on the end that said it was a large size, but the box clearly says 'main size'. We never noticed. The boxes are identical except for the size. Check it…

I have found large boxes of wax paper, foil or cling film to be very economical. Wax paper comes in a variety of thicknesses (for different purposes) and I find it to be around the middle which makes it very versatile. We use these large leaves for cooking as well as storing food. Some of the uses are: wrapping lunch sandwiches, wrapping hand-cut cheese, cooking fish, baking cookies, preparing cake batter. and all the hundreds of uses for wax paper. Great kitchen and dining hack. Pack pickles, sandwiches, pizza in seconds. Roll in a napkin and silverware so you can eat with a real knife and fork as you work.
