🔋 Interglobal IG13 20EL PowerPack Review

Bought to bring our 18 inch aquarium lights back to life. Was an exact replacement for the old one that came out. Save us about $50 compared to buying a new light cap assembly.

I ordered this ballast because it seems like it has gone bad. The old ballast has served us well for 16 years so I think the new one will be as good or even better!

My original aquarium lighting is broken. Since it matches the hood perfectly, I really didn't want to switch to a new style. So I got that. About five minutes with some wire nuts (reused from the OEM) and some zip ties (wiring harness cleaning) and he's back in action!

Identical to the faulty one I replaced except I had to connect my existing lamp holders to this new ballast. Also, I'm a little concerned that the original ballast only lasted 4 years as I've seen ballasts from the last 20+ years. Of course, they probably weren't made in China.

This item was an exact replacement for the model number for my aquarium. It was easy to install, but just 30 minutes after turning it on, the bulb burned out. It gave off a terrible burning smell, damaged my hood (burn marks on the inner plastic) and burned my new lightbulb. So now I still have to buy a ballast, a lightbulb and maybe a new hood :(

I bought an aquarium lid light that lost its ballast after a year or two. It was the exact ballast replacement that brought the bonnet light back to life. It arrived quickly and was easy to connect - I would recommend this ballast to anyone who needs to replace the cheap one that comes with most aquarium lights.

5 minutes of searching revealed that replacing the exact ballast for my aquarium lamp costs HALF a new lamp. So instead of buying a new lamp I bought two replacement ballasts. After they arrived I spent 10 minutes replacing the faulty one and my lamp works like new. It's great that I found the right part so quickly. It works great.

My aquarium lamp fell into my fish tank a few days ago so I dried everything by disassembling it. I noticed that my old ballast was rusted and a fire hazard. Instead of spending $50 on a new light, I decided to just replace the ballast. As someone unfamiliar with electricity, I could easily disassemble it and connect a new one. Works just like it used to and I couldn't be happier.

I ordered this for my home aquarium. It arrived shortly after it arrived (which I confirmed with a multimeter and found a short to one of the red wires on the positive and negative power lines. All the blue and red wires should be open (easy to find with a google search and a multimeter) ). Got a quick replacement (good thing) but the second one had the exact same defect. I would have tried the third one but my only option was a refund rather than a replacement so I'll get one from someone else
