I installed it in my daughter's Jeep TJ at her request. Very easy to install. But here's a recommendation, I also bought a dual USB Plus that hardwired to their jeep. These (lights) are equipped with a USB connection and have a remote control to control the light. I assume they work fine because every time I get in their jeep they are on and working. She loves them and you can adjust the brightness.

I've installed them in the front and rear footwells of a car. I added separate wiring and a power switch on the center console, but it plugs into a cigar socket and works just fine. They were only 9 inches long but bright enough. Installation wasn't difficult. They stick well and work very well in the short time I've been using them. I will update this review in a few months.

Not very satisfied with the product. Works well if you like red and blue, but that's about it. Green is completely absent and that's the main color I wanted, not to mention orange. The white has a slight purple tint which defeats the purpose for me. The remote works, but you have to point it directly at the receiver wire, which is tricky without having exposed wires dangling throughout the car. Dissatisfied

When I got them in the mail I went from the mailbox straight to the car to install them as it took me a while to open the box, organize the wires and put the headlights there , where I wanted. The entire installation took no more than 10 minutes. What I love most about these lights is that when a song is playing they will flash to the beat of the song you are playing which is really awesome. This product is great for only $15 and you definitely don't need to spend $40/50 on indoor lighting.

I have previously bought a set from them which had a cigarette lighter plug. Although it somehow worked perfectly, the cigarette lighter plug unscrewed itself and started dropping the cap, the tip, the fuse, the spring... I have no idea where half of that day went. Plus USB gives you the option of using a solar generator or battery. Much more convenient. The remote control is awesome and easy to use. Very easy to install. I'm sure a pro can splice the wire and hardwire it to the car and hide the wires much easier than I can. My car has an extra USB port on the center console/armrest so I plugged it in. there the cables on the driver and passenger side were routed over the floor and was able to lift the plastic panels slightly and half hide the cables.
