This works well if you know it will fit in your light box. It seemed to fit mine but found mine had a bracket inside to mount an existing jig. I didn't like the design where one screw goes through the socket and all the adapters go into the mounting box. It would be better if you screwed on the adapter plate and then screwed on the plate and base separately. I received it with some major changes. It works. It probably doesn't fit the code.

For reasons that are unclear, Revain claims that this product is "frequently purchased with the Hubbell-Bell PRBA400G Round Box Adapter", when clearly this product (Intermatic WP3103C) has an almost identical adapter in the box. You do NOT need to buy a second adapter plate. That being said, the adapter plate and "used" socket works very well outdoors, typically for removing a wall light installed outdoors and using this device to connect Christmas lights around your home. Product is good but the picture is a bit misleading. I also thought I would get a junction box. The photo clearly shows a round junction box. Be careful when purchasing this product as you will not receive a junction box.

There were numerous issues with this product, the mounting plate holes did not match the wall box already installed match. The outlet was too small for a standard GFI outlet and I had to open the top and bottom. There seems to be a lack of quality control, or maybe just poor design in general.
