Deep Dive Mind Maps service for living people who like to enjoy the process, who looking for the flow state. Maybe even it is for whole live teams. Because in IOctopus mind maps you can: - Share files. - Work together on the same file. - Yes, like in an online game you can see each other in real time and see what each user does with the file. And also: - Simple branch statuses (tasks) that allow you to see what is happening in your plans now, what is already ready, and what is still to be implemented. - Ability to open mindmaps from any device (macOS, iOS, Windows, Android, Linux, etc.), just a modern browser is enough. - Your files are securely stored in the cloud. Even if you tip a tank of coffee on the laptop, your files will stay with you :) But the main thing is natural branches of Ioctopus. It as a natural extension of thoughts make it easy to enter the flow and get a deep result. Try IOctopus, enjoy the flow...

Mind mapping is a simple and effective method of organizing ideas.

I am happy with the outcome. I was skeptical about having a mind map online. But I was surprised how easy it is to use and navigate. It is nice to have a way to collaborate on the project without having to share my desktop. I like that it's possible to create multiple maps in parallel. The fact that they can be shared between people and view them on the go is great too. And the fact that the file itself is stored safely in the cloud, makes it even better. Pros
  • It's a web-based service, so you don't have to download anything and it runs in your browser.
  • You can use this as many times as you want.
Cons
  • The process is very slow when saving or exporting.
  • The UI is not as intuitive as other software packages.

ive had no problem using ioctopus its simple and i love how you can share folders with others in your team. the interface is very clean and intuitive. i cant fault it. one thing though is when you edit the mindmap after adding new nodes it doesnt automatically update the image next to them so it would be nice to have a little arrow next to them showing the last edited node. ive found this software really useful for organising my thoughts around a project or idea. Its great because once an item…

Pros
  • The interface is clear and easy to follow.
  • There are loads of different features to customise the way the view works which means you could have it display the way you want without having to spend ages fiddling about with code.
Cons
  • That’s a pain but not a big deal
  • There aren’t any guides or tutorials on their website
  • It only seems to work for items that have been shared on their platform
