Review by: IOGEAR 2-Port Cinema 4K DisplayPort KVM, with Full Cable Set (GCS62DP) Edit: I'm updating this a few months later because I just found out that you can enable emulation, which suddenly this brings my SteelSeries Apex 7 keyboard to life! For some reason my mouse (Logitech G604) doesn't see the G-HUb, but I'll go with one of the two for now. I will update when my mouse works. To switch to emulation, press the scroll key twice, then "m" and then enter. I found this in the KVM switch…

Handles 3440 x 1440 @ 75Hz

Switches between a Windows 10 gaming setup with a GTX 980 and a 2012 Macbook Pro. MacbookPro uses a Mini Displayport for the Displayport Adapter Cable (Thunderbolt Compatible Version). The display is a 34-inch display with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a resolution of 3440 x 1440 Acer 34X. Video switching: Windows correctly recognizes the monitor as a G-Sync compatible device. Both computers work correctly at a resolution of 3440 x 1440 and up to 75 Hz. I don't see the video. any degradation with

Unreliable and outdated.

I use it to switch between PC and Mac mini. It works, but with difficulty. Let's start with the positives: it's a fairly straightforward setup, and all the secondary cables are included, which is a nice touch. It includes sound switching and the 3.5mm button is very convenient. let me hide it It handles 3440 x 1440 at 100Hz and GSync. Now about problems. The first problem I had was that neither my keyboard (Corsair Strafe RGB) nor my mouse (Logitech G700s) worked right away. I thought I'd have…

Not for gaming ultra wide!

I am buying this Iogear 4k KVM Displayport to use with my Gaming PC (running Strix 2080ti) and my Razer 15 base (upgraded RAM to 32GB @ 3200Hz and 2 x 2TB m.2 nvme ) connected to Core X-Chroma. with EGVA 2080ti Black. All of this hardware is gsynced to a Predator X34 at 3440 x 1440p at 100Hz, but I couldn't get it to run consistently above 60Hz! I tried turning off gsync and messing around with Hz but the screen was flickering all over the place which started to irritate me and hurt my eyes…

Better than most consumer KVMs, but still not good enough for 2017.

For IOGear GCS62DP: Partly because other switches are horribly bad, this switch is actually very good. This switch works well if you have 2 cheap PCs, a regular mouse and keyboard with a fancy 4K monitor. Unfortunately, I switch back and forth between my Lenovo ThinkPad for work and my personal gaming PC. The switch is powered via USB 2.0, which isn't enough for my Razor keyboard, but is fine for the Logitech G700s wireless mouse. I tested the universal wireless keyboard and the switch worked…
