Unreliable and outdated.

I use it to switch between PC and Mac mini. It works, but with difficulty. Let's start with the positives: it's a fairly straightforward setup, and all the secondary cables are included, which is a nice touch. It includes sound switching and the 3.5mm button is very convenient. let me hide it It handles 3440 x 1440 at 100Hz and GSync. Now about problems. The first problem I had was that neither my keyboard (Corsair Strafe RGB) nor my mouse (Logitech G700s) worked right away. I thought I'd have to return it, but I read other reviews that said mouse emulation should be turned off. As soon as I turned it off, my mouse worked, but my keyboard still didn't work. This is because this switch is USB 2, which I don't think provides enough power for my keyboard. I knew it was USB 2, which is probably why I asked about it. After reading more reviews I was able to connect my mouse and keyboard to the USB 3.0 hub that came with my monitor and connect that USB hub to the KVM mouse port. He has started to work! However, I've been using it for a month and I keep encountering occasional issues. About 60-70% of the time the switch works fine as expected, but here are some of the problems I've encountered so far: ) receives video from the target computer. This happened on Mac and PC. Sometimes the mouse or keyboard doesn't work after switching (Mac or PC). A full switching cycle usually solves the problem, but is obviously quite annoying. My input stopped working for a second or two. Very rarely, but it happened (only the mouse noticed). I've also heard hardware connected to Windows making a random noise. I've never heard of this and I haven't changed anything else in my setup. - My Logitech mouse's DPI shifts after switching, even though both machines have the appropriate drivers loaded. I had no problems with the mouse alone. I usually have to reset it manually using the mouse buttons. I give it 2 stars because $130 is way too much for this expense.
