This camera + visualizer software = Big Teacher Win

could have been chosen I use this tool as a virtual math tutor and its compact design, ease of use, easy installation and features make it worth every penny. The arm is adjustable so I can place the weighted base on the edge of my desk and do some math on my laptop in my compact office. The "Rotate" button means I can flip the image without having to rotate the document camera during the tutorial. These are just great docking cameras. :) It has live streaming, webcam and recording capabilities.

Insufficient power supply for audio and video accessories

Bought a pair for school. I previously bought the simpler version and it worked fine. However, this version must have its own power supply to function properly. We use Chromebooks, if you plug it in and connect your Chromecast (wirelessly) to the projector it works pretty well, a little weak. However, if you're using HDMI, the device might not even turn on or might start flickering when powered by the Chromebook. Plugging into an outlet with a standard USB charger doesn't improve the situation.

You get what you pay for. . .

I use this document camera regularly in class. It is well made and has a high quality lens. The downloadable software is great too. First I bought an inexpensive visualizer that was half the price of this one, but I didn't like its flimsy design and every table movement was magnified on the camera. I am very satisfied with this product.

Disappointed - Computer Accessories and Peripherals

This camera focuses very well on a book page, but spelling out words or word lists is another matter. My students often claim that words are blurry when I try to focus on them. The camera often switches from the footage to my face. Elmo at school was a much better product.

The best document camera you can buy!

This is the absolute best visualizer I've used while teaching students during COVID-19 and distance learning. Easy to use, the picture is perfect and even better than a real teacher's camera. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

Convenient and easy to use. Good quality

Download the software, connect your camera and you're done. I bought the camera to do a Zoom drawing lesson and it worked well. I had a long display lag when using older computers with low memory, but I didn't have this problem when I switched to a new computer. The autofocus got stuck a couple of times, but that's easily fixed by toggling autofocus off and on again. Not cheap but high quality and very comfortable.

    Not ready for prime time

What I like Nice compact form factor, for me quick plug and play setup, good control layout and logic, auto focus is pretty fast My monitor looks awful live over youtube. The camera is actually surprisingly suitable for everyday use. The colors are vibrant and the book covers look great. The problem lies in the image of black and white pages in textbooks. It looks blurry and sometimes barely legible. And yes, I've tried all the settings. I had him show the pages of the book to my students while

    Love or go? Leave it.

I really wanted to like it. It's not bright enough. I turn on a little light and brightness to the end. That is not enough. I even use my iPhone's flashlight to try and help. I have a student with vision problems and it just isn't bright enough. This is not my projector because my computer projects perfectly. This is an image or ipevo software. I have to let my visually impaired student have half the lights in the back of the classroom, but even with them all off and the curtains drawn, this…

Worth every penny if you're visually impaired

I have macular degeneration and was having trouble reading the various menu screens on my insulin pump and smartphone. I had already upgraded my computer monitor to a very large 43" monitor (running Windows 10 in high contrast mode) and wanted the camera to put each device in front of it and magnify it on my 43" screen. I compared different document cameras available. and chose this model mainly because it had a standard HDMI HD video output that went straight to my monitor. It also has a USB…
