Excellent quality white shirt Material

Nice thin fabric! I used to mend an expensive Eileen West robe that I wore ONCE that got stuck on a screen door. So happy it wasn't white DENIM or anything heavy. Great material for shirts.

Worked great! - Finishes and decorations

Great work! My dog made two holes in my son's mattress. I figured I would need two packs to cover them, but a cut in half was enough to cover them. They stick very quickly and easily and have not come off for several months.

Excellent Repair - Sew

There were 2 sheets torn at the bottom. In summer my feet can get pretty rough from walking barefoot, so the sheets got thinner over time. I bought it to fix both, not to replace expensive high quality sheets. I was skeptical but realized it had been done. Oooh, I'm glad I did that. They were perfect for use on sheets that were amazingly scratch resistant. And they lasted several washes. A repair is therefore worthwhile!

Pros
  • Great for a Small Home
Cons
  • Great Price

Heavy: it does the job, just what I wanted!

I live where it is very cold and I need warm slippers. I got great slipper socks which I love very much but it only took 3 months for holes to appear on the heels. So I used Bondex to strengthen my heels. I sewed on the patches because I wanted them to be durable. The house socks in the photo were put under a lot of strain for a whole year and are still durable thanks to the Bondex reinforcement.

Pros
  • understandable also for the old
Cons

This fabric patch worked great

I used the patch on a frayed area on some expensive sheets where my feet were obviously rubbing against the sheet. (This has never happened to me.) This patch was large enough to reinforce the area and not so hard that the sheets were uncomfortable. I place it on the underside of the sheet where it's less irritating than directly against your skin. It sticks well and I am very happy with it. It seems like it's good for many uses.

does what it says best in sewing

My wife uses patches in small pieces to repair a handmade heirloom quilt. The white backing of the quilt has deteriorated so badly that individual binding threads have pulled through it in several places. Small patches of white iron on the patches provide the inexpensive fabric strength needed locally to carry spare bands, at least temporarily. When enough patches have accumulated it will replace the entire backing, but until then it's a quick, inexpensive and effective way to protect your…

Very bad for in use repairs

I had an iron on a denim patch that I put on knee length jeans and the washing never removed a single part of it. I used part of one of these white patches to smooth out a small tear on the edge of the white cover sheet. Attach it the same way I did the denim patch. After the first wash the corner of the patch started peeling (I stuck it on with fabric repair glue which has worked on other things too). Half fell off the second wash. On the third wash it's almost completely gone. I don't sew! So
