This is one of the best kitchen purchases we've made in a long time. They flow very well, have no unpleasant odor and are easy to clean. They fold up for storage and have no bulky handles! I was very happy when I received the measuring cup set as I saw that the quality is very good and the silicone is thick. The inscriptions on the cups are easy to read. The fact that there are both US and metric measurements makes it easy to follow most recipes online. I've found that the lines around the cups in 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 measurements help with the transition from US to metric and vice versa. I am very happy with the cups. Previously purchased measuring cups would bother me. How could you make a measuring cup whose numbers have faded? The measuring cup should do very little. It shouldn't break and the numbers on the measuring cup should be legible. If you fail at any of these things, you are terrible. *Updated Review: I loved these mugs until I ran them through the dishwasher with Cascade Platinum capsules. They absorb so much odor that I have to soak them in baking soda to get rid of the smell and then hand wash them when I use them unless I change my dish soap. I LOVE these cups! I mean if I lost them I would replace them the next day. That's how I like her! I don't think I could handle an important culinary event without her! These are LIQUID measuring cups, not dry. Dry measurement is different. Sometimes it doesn't matter, but for accurate baking you should use the kind you fill and then level (or ideally weigh your dry ingredients).
