Personna's double-edged platinum super stainless steel blades have given me a smooth, scratch-free shave with my Merkur razor. They seem to stay sharp for a week if shaved multiple times a day. although I rinse and rotate the blade every time I shave. I could do without the extra packaging that comes with the 10 blade dispenser packs, but some people may need it to safely dispose of their used blades. Purchased through my wife's account. I have tried different types of razor blades including Derby, Astra SP, Sharks and Gillette Silver Blues. These Personas are excellent blades. They're probably the closest to SP in terms of sharpness, but appear smoother. Based on the shave I've had so far, I'd say this might be my new favorite blade. You keep multiple shaves.
