So far, this unit performs as expected. Its a little tall for 13 gal bags, but I just put some of the styrofoam packing material in the bottom and it works fine.I guess they didn't listen to complaints about the sticker on the front, because it is still impossible to remove.The sensor on this one is supposed to be redesigned and better, but I have nothing to compare it to.I'll be shocked if the lid mechanism lasts more than 6 months.I'll refresh this review in 6 mos if I can remember!*UPDATED…

Batteries not a long term solution for expense. Bought the auto close motion trash cans, which are great! Would have been nice if adapters were included. Just saying.

Talk about a kitchen trash can! This sucker is awesome. The big belly and wide mouth lid swallows a dirty Chinet platter whole when tossed in. I use 55 gallon bags just to be extra, but I am sure 33 gallon black trash bags would suffice. You might as well forget about those white kitchen bags though, they can't even hold a couple of empty 2 Liter bottles let alone be worthy of lining this stainless steel wonder.
