ITouchless Active Carbon Filter Refill Review

We made this to make it easier to get rid of the rubbish. The top of the old cover was always dirty from hands and dirt. It will open automatically. And automatically closes, accepts a standard 13 gallon trash bag. We have one on wheels so I can transport it to where I cook. Easy to open while driving, closes automatically. So I bought this trash can because I have a pet trash panda, also known as the trash can dive kitten. Use the automatic or flip the lid up and down at will - it's nice to have that option. Batteries not included - only 2 AA batteries are used. It doesn't come with an AC plug, which I found odd, but after a week of use you probably won't need it anymore.

I bought a 13 gallon iTouchless trash can for a while. Now when I open the trash can, the smell repels me. Then I know I need to replace the filter as soon as possible. Definitely worth the price as the old filter lasts a long time, at least 5-6 months for me. If you have a large household, you may need less. Don't be like me with a plastic zipper for the first time! lol Make sure to open the zip bag and take out the device before installing the filter.

I really wish I would like this because I needed a lockable bin (we have a horizontal bar at home) and the move/wheel activation was a bonus. But it didn't cost any money. The wheels don't lock, so it rolls all the time - I often had to look for it because of the turdler. It fits into 13-gallon garbage bags, but cannot be filled due to the tank's thin frame and small opening. It's also nearly impossible to get a full garbage bag out of the bin. This bin is exactly what I wanted for my workshop - I can wheel it to where I work, it has plenty of space, pockets are easy enough to put in it in (unlike some cans with a hidden pouch) and the mouth shuts securely. HOWEVER the motion detector opening stopped working after about two weeks probably because it ate the batteries alive (never bothered to change them and find out).
