Generates a lot of heat

Very satisfied! It generates a lot more heat than my electric range and really makes frying a lot easier. I've paired it with a W10216179 Whirlpool wok ring (also available here at Revain) and it supports my round bottomed wok perfectly.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn

35FW - Excellent Stove

Excellent Stove, use with a 12 inch carbon steel wok and a Gas One canister. I was at *mart the other day and noticed cans of Coleman Butane. expensive but was curious if they would work in a pinch as this oven seemed to take all the canisters. click, they seem to connect but don't stay connected. Just a note for buyers.

  • Stylish and modern design

Must have for owners of induction cookers!

I currently have a 10,000 btu burner and it does the job very well, boiling hot pots, roasting chicken, searing steaks. I bought a 35FW and 15,000 BTUs is more than enough power to cook any meal. I use it indoors with no problems. Build quality is excellent, Cadillac of all burners. The built-in flash hider is a handy feature. I like the magnetic closure. I have an induction cooktop and there is no way to get heat when frying with a wok or even frying chicken and keeping the oil warm. I bought…

Get one. Don't mess with the cheap ones.

Iwatani invented this product years ago and everyone else is trying to copy it without success. Good product, thick stainless steel not flimsy. No chipping paint, good materials and equal or better than a standard home oven. The connection with the gas bottle is original, the magnetic connection with the gas bottle/stove works and does not leak. These standard notched Cokeman style butane bottles are used and (8.8 oz) you can buy them anywhere. Good for camping but maybe a bit big and heavy for

This oven is true!

This stove is real! I've had mine for 3 years now and use it for all my daily prep. The normal stove is only used when I am preparing a soup or a dish that needs to be cooked for a long time. I originally bought this to prepare stir fries. However, it quickly became my favorite vessel for cooking a variety of dishes. It has amazing heat output for frying french fries etc, then you can easily adjust the temperature for ingredients that require less heat. Cooking a complete meal on this stove is…

I wanted to like this stove.

The solid build quality and appearance of this stove is excellent, but it does have a few serious flaws. First, the high power of the BTU is practically useless at maximum power. Because the flame spreads across the width of even the widest recommended cooking vessel. Most BTUs are lost on the sides of the swamp. Second, the flame restricts airflow. Most of the combustion air comes out of a central opening located in the middle of the burner head. This causes the flame to spread horizontally…

Excellent quality and performance

I have used other less expensive butane canister gas burners in the past but they tend to perform poorly outdoors on cool days. Butane remains liquid at temperatures below 32°F/0C, but even at higher temperatures the canister itself will cool as the fuel is consumed - to the point where the canister can be chilled to freezing temperature, resulting in an almost complete loss of pressure leads. This oven contains a heating plate. conducts heat from the burner to the canister. This heat is enough

Works great but parts are limited.

We have been using this model daily for almost five years. Boils water super fast! It works great, but with some quirks. As others have pointed out, maintaining a very low "boil temperature" is a problem since the burner doesn't seem to like being set that low. It's also true that the fuel will jump out of the holder if it gets too hot. I've found that this only happens when cooking on cast iron at high heat for an extended period of time, e.g. B. when frying. In terms of fuel grades, we have…

Quality portable oven made in Japan that will last for years

Super high heat output 15,000 BTU. highest BTU on the market for a portable oven of this size. I have a cheaper portable oven that I bought at local Asian stores for $20. I no longer use them after having a connection problem due to a gas cylinder that nearly exploded. The connection to the gas bottle is possible without any problems. it's part of the mind. The connection uses powerful magnets to connect the gas. that works great. I use them for hot pot, Korean BBQ, noodles, wok frying…
