Good product. for audio and video accessories

Well, I keep it simple. Plugged in and everything worked. I can't tell if it scales to 720 or 1080 by default, or even after pressing that little button. My main concern was getting the Wii's image onto the 120-inch projection screen without creating an uncomfortable stretch, and it worked well. Does it look uneven, especially from 20 inches away? This is a good product to bring your aging Wii to life.

Worked great - video converter

My college son decided to smash an old WII. Our newer 4K TV wasn't compatible with the old Wii component setup. Our Wii should be 15 years old! Ordered, connected, works great. I've read many reviews that the TV quality will be poor, but that's not the case. It looks great on our HDTV, I have good HDMI cables too. The Wii is back up and running, who would have thought I kept the Wii just to use as a DVD player on our boat. The Wii is back in the house and being used. Highly recommended.

My first tests were not good. The video quality was really bad - very grainy regardless of the converter setting 720p vs 1080p. I then changed the video settings on the Wii itself. 1) Go to 'Wii Options' (bottom left corner of Wii Menu screen) 2. ) Select 'Wii Settings'. 3) Select "Screen". Changed to "Widescreen (16:9)". 5) Check "TV Resolution" - I had it set to "Standard TV (480i)" although I'm using HDTV). Switch to EDTV or HDTV (480p). These settings may or may not work for your TV, but in
