Not for me. - Figure skating

K small. I understand that skates are supposed to shape the legs but they are so uncomfortable. Too much ankle support. Suitable for children but not for adults. Even simple turns and jumps can't be done with it, and mine isn't sharpened. I also ordered the ones that are pink on the inside and the color has come off the laces. Luckily I have my old pair that I need for work. :( They were very nice, hence two stars.

  • Legend absolute

I love these skates! - Figure skating

I'm an adult, I skate every week. These skates are very durable and comfortable. I was very impressed with the quality of the shoe and the blades. As with all new skates, the blades must be sharpened before first use. I wear shoes in size 6.5-7. I wear running shoes one size up, a size 8, and I bought these for skating. They go perfectly with normal socks (not too thick and not too thin). The laces are very long, if they seem too long to you, watch some YouTube videos on how to lace skate shoes

Pros
  • Very impressive

  • I don't remember, but something happened

Recognized Brand in Figure Skating

I teach figure skating and learn to skate and bought these size 8 toddler skates for my 4 year old daughter. We used to have pink plastic hockey skates because that was all we could find for their tiny feet. You never worked for her. I've wanted to get her skates for a long time as I think flat rockers would be easier for her to learn (she's an anxious type and afraid of falling). These are good support skates and so far I'm impressed. Often we see figure skaters wearing novice skaters that are

Excellent quality and size

In the preface to this review I would like to say that I have been figure skating for over ten years. It's important to realize that figure skates (and hockey skates) must be sized to provide adequate support for safety and comfort. Unfortunately, pair skates are not the kind of sporting gear you can buy in the hopes of your child growing up, and wearing thick socks is not a solution as it could put the skater at risk of spraining an ankle or something worse sprain. said I bought these Jackson…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • There are some nuances

The lacing system does not match the quality of the skates

Great skates for beginners. They have excellent ankle support and are generally sturdy. The real problem with the lacing hook. Flimsy isn't the right word to describe this metal hook. If a seven-year-old girl can break the hook by tightening the laces, the product is defective. I've read other complaints about the eyelet system but overall these skates got high marks so I took a chance. Luckily the hook in the return window broke so I got a replacement. They were used for two skating lessons…

Pros
  • A good thing
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

A little dirty on arrival but not enough to send back

I deduct one star because they were a little dirty on arrival (as seen in the picture) , but not bad enough to send them back. (I have a feeling they were a trial pair or a throwback as they've obviously been at least tried on.) Once tried on, they actually fit very well. I usually wear size 8.5/9 tennis shoes, so after preparing the review I bought a size 8. They fit perfectly even with thick socks. They're much more comfortable than rental skates, but I have big legs and thick ankles, so my…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Broken hooks are the best in the sport

We bought these skates on January 20th and within 6 weeks (used once a week for 30-90 minutes) 3 or 4 hooks broke. I contacted the seller on 4/28 to inquire about a replacement or refund. They said they wanted me to pick up the skates and fix the hooks then they would refund my money. The skate shops I live at don't have the equipment to fix these hooks (they could fix the metal grommets). I don't appreciate having to look for a workshop as it takes more time than it's worth. I have made a…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers

Great skates! the best in sport

First the skates look big but overall narrow. I wear shoes 9.5, normal width. (In shoes that aren't half size, I wear a 10.) With ice skates, I have what is called a wide foot. (This is a normal shoe-to-skate conversion: I have regular-width shoes, but need wide skates.) Anyway, I just want to help people with sizing. I ordered these skates a size 9 and they go perfectly with a pair of comfortable thick socks. Based on my experience with ice skates, I knew that 10s would be too big. 9's are…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
