Love this pair of skates! This is perfect for beginners with wide feet like me. Most importantly, DO NOT BUY A SHOE SIZE THAT MATCHES YOUR SHOE SIZE as they are too big. If there is a professional store nearby, go there to measure and try on your feet. If there is no store, find a foot measurement guide online and follow the Jackson size chart. (For example, my usual shoe size is 7.5-8, but I wear 6.5 skates.)

These skates were incredibly comfortable the first time I put them on. They also turn out true to size. You'll need to sharpen them as soon as you get them, but other than that everything else is ready to use. These are high quality skates at a reasonable price. I do figure skating (1-2 times a week), currently taking classes and they suit me. I don't know if they will suit higher level skaters but for those looking for a comfortable and durable pair of skates you can't go wrong with these.

The skates fit my feet perfectly and the skating was fantastic. I went down one size from my usual shoe size and used the Jackson Ultima sizing guide to choose a larger width for my foot. Sometimes skates can feel weird even if you fit them in because you haven't broken them yet.
