Great for replacing a 290 lumen cabinet light

I have a number of 40w/290 lumen cabinet lamps (GE Soft White) that I am looking to replace with LED lamps. I got two other 40w LED replacement bulbs but they were too bright at 350 or 450 lumens. These 25w replacement bulbs were perfect. Despite being rated at 250 lumens, they still seem brighter (but not too bright) than my current 40 watt bulbs. These new LED bulbs are smaller in diameter than my current bulbs, but the difference in size doesn't matter to me.

All 6 bulbs are defective

Update January 1st: To date, every bulb in the box is defective. In the photos the lamps look brighter than they really are. TV is brighter than incandescent bulbs. Update: December 12th - These bulbs have only been around for a little over 3 months and all 6 of them have blown or are now just Supersim and not even lighting the room. Wasted Money August 28th Someone recommended these bulbs to me for Kelvin temp, so I'm going to try them. One of the 6 bulbs turned out to be defective and doesn't

Save energy and money on lightbulbs

I finally found 25w lightbulbs for my light in LED version, I'm tired of buying them in HD incandescent version. My light also has 11, so saving energy was a consideration. The old ones got a little warm too. Now I don't feel like fries while shaving or brushing my teeth anymore and with all 11 I use less electricity than two old light bulbs! It's a bit bluer than I expected from something labeled "soft white" but a far cry from what the original LED bulbs produced.
