This is a good face shield, I can't speak about durability because we just got it. The peak can be easily removed for washing or if you just need a hat. The only thing that irritates me is that the plastic shade was folded "wrong" in the middle. So when attached to a hat, due to a crease in the plastic, it bends inward and touches the nose.
