HOUR METER----Track the number of hours the engine has worked. When the engine is turned off, the total running time of the engine will be displayed and remain visible. Easy installation is best in gauge kits

Easily installs on Nissan 30hp outboards. Wrap the wire around the spark plug wire several times and it reads perfectly. Easily programmable for your specific engine application

Partial failure, the seller quickly replaced!

*Update* After emailing the seller I got a great response. They replace my device even if I miss the return deadline by a few days. Hell, it's nice to work with good people too. *Original post* After 3 hours of use, the first digit on the LCD screen stopped working. The device was easy enough to program and had all the features I was looking for, but I have to return it. It was mounted on a portable generator and not exposed to inclement weather.

If I were you I would look elsewhere.

Difficult to read out of sight. Installation was as easy as it gets. However, the reason it gets 1 star is because it keeps reloading while running. Tried replacing the battery. Replacing didn't help. So using the hour counter, which was my intended purpose, doesn't work as it resets the time on every reset. money thrown away. This was set up to monitor the run hours of a 4000 watt generator. The RPMs are displayed correctly, but again refer to the reset issue. I have 2 of them with the same…
