It's not 6 inches in diameter. there is also no flange, which also makes it extremely difficult to mount anything. For the extra parts I have to buy to make this work, I could get something a lot cheaper.

Just doesn't come with anything to fill gaps on the outside and I believe they should as it's the only one in the box, which prevents other windows from closing. so I get a cold hit from there.

This product was advertised as having a connecting hose. There are other options that come with the hose. It would be nice if you specified that the hose is not included. I could have saved myself the extra money for the exhaust. The product is strong but I was utterly disappointed that the hose was not included in the advertisement.

When a company advertises a 6" diameter product, you can hope that the damn hole is actually a 6" diameter. The hole is NOT 6 inches, it is 5.5 inches. Whatever some ladies say, size matters. Aside from being annoyed that I had to cut a 6 inch hole saw, which most people don't notice, to get the correct diameter.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Works perfect. The hole is sized to fit very snugly against the hose. Screws and a protective film also came in handy. I've used all of these and it's sealed well. I used screws to attach the bottom of the panels to the window sill. This is a very strong product. I definitely recommend everyone to buy this.

Very simple and clear, I made it myself in just a few minutes. Now that I've taken it out and will be leaving it next summer, let's see how it holds up once it's been taken apart; Not sure if other screws or something like that would be required. The screws that come with it are quite small. But it worked great all summer! I was VERY HAPPY I installed a portable air conditioner in my daughter's room a few months ago when it hit 118°C.

It was easy to fit in a 54" tall sash window. Can't comment on durability yet as there have only been a few It has been weeks. I would say it is moderately strong. For example: do not move the parking cooler even slightly after installation. The product description incorrectly says that a 5" adapter is needed. Ours arrived with a 4 inch circular opening, not 5 inches. Unfortunately, we had to send back the 5" adapter that we bought, so save yourself the hassle.

This product is NOT fragile. quality material. These sliders are very easy to open. No problem and I'm 70. Installation was easy. It came with a roll of electrical tape to fill in any remaining gaps. I have an old house and my windows aren't straight! My self-contained portable air conditioner has been out of production for a long time. I've searched and searched all over the internet to find parts for the YEAR, as an afterthought I checked out the Revain. Voila. Here it is! I should have known

It would be perfect and that's what I was looking for. but the size just didn't fit. My hose counts as a 5" but it was dangling in the hole. I had the original "plug" or plug facing out and I was trying to fit it so it was too big. The plastic is nice and thick which is ideal would be if everything fits but it was too hard for me to cut I found the foam sheet I found with my original parts was EVERYTHING (I thought it was just insulation) so I gave it a try and it worked. It looked a lot better
