Best hood scoop for vintage Jeeps

I recently purchased a hood scoop for my vintage Jeep Wrangler and it has been a game changer. Through trial and error, I found that this hood scoop not only looks great but also provides the necessary protection for my engine. It’s made of high-quality materials that can withstand any automotive wear and tear. The only con I found was installing it was a bit tricky, but after watching some tutorial videos, I got it installed with ease. Highly recommended for any vintage Jeep lover.

Pros
  • Great protection for engine, high-quality materials
Cons
  • Installation can be tricky

Good idea, needs a little modification

I didn't like that you can't remove the key when the lock is unlocked. So I replaced the lock cylinder with a Defender Security U9941 cabinet lock that I bought from Revain. Now a good lock is perfect.

Pros
  • Comes with 2 keys
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Very cheap screws should not be left open

As others have said, easy and quick installation. does what it says You can't unlock it and remove the key, which is a bug and I wouldn't buy it if I knew it worked that way. Sometimes I wish I could keep it unlocked, but this device forces you to enter a key. Also, the screws are not of very good quality and they are pan head screws, pretty much the worst type of screw on the planet. Not a big deal, but the rest of the device seems to be of good quality.

Pros
  • Metal
Cons
  • Large and bulky
