Despite the description, this item is not armored. Item arrived without visual integrity and was not suitable for outdoor use. Product description is wrong. Don't waste your precious time with this product

This product appears to be well made and when not self destruct it works well. However, the product has a relatively large piece of plastic where it breaks out into two separate fibers from a reinforced section. This makes it very difficult to pull through pipes or even other slightly overloaded places (if it gets stuck and breaks a few times).

I ordered this about 6 weeks ago and I know I will use it once other items arrive from other suppliers. I installed it this weekend only to find out it's DOA. I tried returning it with Revain but was told it no longer matched the return status. It's gross that I plan ahead to have all the gear I need ready when the last piece comes back to bite my wallet.

Worked well although a bit thinner than I expected for an armored cable. I wouldn't recommend placing it in a high traffic area just because it might not survive being run over by an 18 wheeler - which I would expect from an armored cable. Also, spend $10 and get a reel for these, just something that winds them up properly. This saves you a lot of time.

I bought a 100m LC-LC singlemode patch cord to run between my house and barn. It required a 4-inch pipeline 240 feet underground—a pain but done now. I thought I used enough "snot" in the pipe when making the connections, and the fact that it was a straight section with no knees made me think I could pull all 240 feet in one go. It shouldn't have happened as after about 100 feet it became difficult to pull. I'm guessing it was in the 20lb range. Not knowing how strong the thin cable was, I…
