I needed warm pants for a trip to Iceland and they fit perfectly. I liked the zip pockets and the drawstring waist. I carried a sling with them and they moved well when hiking and climbing snowy volcanoes. I bought 2 pairs and am very happy with them.

I ordered these pants for skiing and other cold weather outdoor activities. However, the upper is very tight and even with some stretch, just too tight for active use. Also, as another reviewer noted, there's an odd bump in the crotch. If you have narrow legs these pants might be for you, but not if you have muscles.

These pants were easy to try on when they arrived. I'm 5'9 170 and usually wear 33x30. I took 34 just in case. They fit like 34x32. I will most likely be wearing walking shoes so the length should be fine. Because of the elasticity, 32 would probably be better, but 34 will work, especially when I add a layer. The strap that comes with it is very long so you can either cut it off to remove the excess or throw it away and wear a strap that fits like I plan to do.

I have nothing bad to say about it. I'm size 30 and it fits perfectly. The belt is NOT REQUIRED, but the belt is ok too. They just have a little elastic around the waist to keep them in place and I don't know why every pair of pants doesn't have that. They're definitely waterproof to some extent, but standing in sustained rain or spray will get a little wet. But they are still mainly advertised as ski pants.
