Excellent replacement: night lights

Arrived a day faster than expected. Was a perfect replacement for our broken one and now we have a spare. The funny thing is that we can control it with the TV remote control. I see that as a bonus.

The slot is only 71 or 72 mm long.

It was written with an 80mm slot. But it's only 71 or 72 mm. It's a little hard to measure but definitely a lot less than the 80 in the description. Also, they appeared to be fully functional, but the slot was too small for me to use them.

Be careful with sconces

Works great and looks great and bright. one thing though. Be VERY CAREFUL when turning them off. They're cheap for a reason. I broke one by accidentally pulling the USB cable and it broke inside. The USB cable is detachable, but I recommend not removing it once the cable is plugged in. Very easy to break. In addition to this great value

Positive: The USB port is on the back. Cons: The slot size is just under 3 inches.

This model is a bit unusual compared to many others. This one has a better layout in the sense that the USB connector is on the back instead of the side, so hiding the cable is much better. Most others seem to mount the USB connector on the side. However, the slot on this one is just under 3 inches long (appears to be around 2.7 inches long). Most others have a groove length of just over 3 inches. So just keep this in mind when ordering acrylic blanks.

Decent light sockets, best lighting and ceiling fans

Good quality bright LEDs. The slot is 80mm x 5mm. So if you are laser cutting acrylic for this you will either need to start with a 5mm blank or use a 6mm blank and raster a lip to fit the slot. I chose the latter and my pieces worked well and looked great. I haven't had flashlights long enough to know how battery efficient they are, but it's good to have a USB cable in case batteries eat them up.
