🚀 JET 15043 Performance Tuner Review

I bought this programmer to improve the performance of my 2004 Ford Explorer. To be honest I didn't notice any difference so to be honest it really wasn't worth the price. I've used other programmers on various car makes and models and have seen really good performance gains. But this was not the case.

I have a 2004 F-150 and have selected the correct model for my truck. I plugged it in and it says an update is needed. I called Jet, they told me the programmer was fine and my truck needed an upgrade! The service manager at Tuttle Click Ford said he had no idea and I could bring my truck in for a diagnostic fee of at least $120 and then "IF" they could figure it out I would have to pay for it. They ended up knowing exactly what year and engine I had in my truck and sold me a $300+ programmer…

Terrible experience, I bought a tuner for my 2014 Ford Mustang after checking the aircraft industry compatibility. And when I got it later than originally advertised, I installed it and the tuner gave me an error message saying it needed a software update. 2007 Navigator. Sluggish butt on a good day. The Jet Programmer was a lot better than one would think for the price. Lots of settings and optimizations. I loaded the default premium fuel setting and increased my shift points a bit. Not a dynamometer test, heh, but a good ride-day seat says the truck is a little springier off the line in low gear.
