The new one fits much, much better. I love the look of the leather and the buckles - they add a touch of elegance to the standard D-ring belts I usually wear with shorts.

For so much money you can't really argue about quality! The belt is really good. However, I have made the mistake of buying a belt one size larger if the end of the belt hits the back of my waist ^_^ (I have a 32" waist). I ended up giving it to my brother. I probably would have ordered the recommended size instead of following what others are saying in the comments, well. Metal seems decent! The leather parts are synthetic though, so just FYI. But overall it's a great belt!

Bought two of these. I had a similar belt that my wife gave me. She overpaid the cost of these belts many times over. Side by side you would have a hard time telling the difference. The straps are very well made, carefully packaged for shipping and delivered very quickly. I like this style because you can customize it to fit your needs and not rely on where the holes are punched. I've worn them a few times to play golf and I love the stretch.
