Pliers are great. However, the rings that come with the kit are. I would not recommend it. 1/2" everything failed, everything just slipped. I had to redo the hours of use. I bought the original PEX clamps and they work great, I think the ones that came with might be metric so don't use them

Good for a spontaneous "emergency" situation, but not good enough for long-term use or large jobs. After about 40 ½" PEX ferrules they no longer tightened enough to seal any size and would not readjust, which unfortunately led me to buy another crimp to finish the job.

This tool worked great and did my plumbing job. The clamps that come with it are complete rubbish and I wouldn't use them as the clamp isn't very good, buy good brand name clamps. I still gave it 5 stars as it is the tool I bought it for and it worked great for less than a quarter of what the local stores were selling the tool for.

I bought this tool because a reviewer said the clips that came with it worked with Polybutylene. This reviewer is wrong! I have used a Sharkbite U4008LFA conversion hitch in the past. I thought of replacing them with clamps, but no. These three SharkBites I installed a long time ago are still holding on. The tool itself worked flawlessly on all my PEX connections.

I've never used a product like this, I've only seen it in action on YouTube. Even a layman like me could use it with great success. Had to replace the mixing valve in the extended wall which only had a standard mixing valve hole cut in the tile etc. Luckily the mixing valve was connected to the PEX so all I had to do was cut the old fitting and put in these new fittings. This was nice because the crimping tool could fit in the small hole. I am planning a major renovation of two other bathrooms…

During the erasing process, I realized that this tool is buggy. I washed my mother-in-law with another tool for an hour without a single leak. I lost this one so bought this one because of the overnight delivery. Well, at first I thought it was the faucet. nope Then I thought it was a Cinch brand. nope Tried different brands. I realized that this tool is not close enough to tighten. A gap of about 3 mm remains. This distance should be 1 mm. A lot of time wasted.

After 10 or 12 PEX clamps used in the project, none leaked. Having worked in some fairly tight spots for this project, it would have been nice to see a tool that could be opened without having to spread the handles wide apart. The locking option of the ratchet is very useful, it would be nice to extend it a bit. In one spot that was too small for the tool to fit with the grips wide open, the solution was to partially compress the clamp in mid-air, but leaving enough diameter to still clamp the…

Not good, broken after a short use. Also, the instructions do not cover adjusting the tool up or down for different ring sizes. A side note: the sponge has failed from hasty heat treatment, I've seen this on many cheap import tools.
