JobSite Boot Toe Guards Review

I have been installing and using similar if not identical products on my work boots for more than 20 years. The instructions do not include all the components in the package. The adhesive is not as good as previous packages. The sand paper for scuffing the leather for better adhesion is to fine, it used to be course. The toe gards did not adhere to the leather of my boots. The surfase was not dirty, boots are brand new and only worn to check size. I just hope i can find better adhesive to retry

I bought these for my roller skates, and I'm very happy with how they've protected them! The only issue with this product is that the provided glue is garbage. Don't even bother trying to make it work. One slide across concrete in my skates with that adhesive on the toe guards and they popped right off. I used E6000 after that and haven't had any more issues.

I didn't know if adhesive toe guards would really stay on and cover the premature loss of leather on my work boots. These have been a nice surprise! The adhesive is strong! They have not lifted at the edges and have protected the boot toes from tearing and scuffing worse! Great job!

The leather was getting beat up on boots so I slapped these on there. I used shoe goo instead of the glue it came with. Great solution to save my boots.

Anybody that buys this needs to buy a tube of tough toe)to go with it cover them up and they work like a champ with tough toe!

The glue that's sent sucks. After sanding to make abrasions, the glue doesn't stick. I used nonexpanding gorilla glue and haven't had a problem since. The actual guards work as projected.

I did everything Instructions say, one fell off the first day of wearing my new boots and the next one on the second day, I guess the glue wasn’t strong enough, what a waste of money.

I put the Toe Guards on a pair of work boots that the toes was almost gore. The boots were in good shape except for the toes. It sealed the worn spots and will give me that additional life I was looking for from these boots.This was just what I was looking for.

Doesn’t hold very long. My husband stated they were already peeling off after his first week wearing his new boots. He followed directions carefully and waited all weekend before wearing them.

They fit my Redwing’s boots fine. I have a small home in the toe area on one boot the guard covers it and with the contact cement that comes with them seems permanent, so no more hole! Would definitely purchase again. Wish I had BEFORE my boot had the hole.

These are good. They seem to be holding up well on my shoes. I do wish they had a larger size available (would also need more of the glue). The size they gave me seems more ideal for a kid boot

Received two sets jobsite toe gaurds to put on my boots and one package came with only 1 toe gaurd leaving my other boot defenseless. Have use this brand for years and never had this issue before.
