This ignition is a must-have for any automotive enthusiast who wants to keep their beloved ride running smoothly.

The wires fit very well.

Installation of the wire was easy and only required a 7mm cut shoe for the sides of the coil. I'd rather have boots a little longer than too short. The cables were long enough to be routed in a way that eliminated the typical interference of the engine cover and latch. Each wire was within 10% or less resistance of each other.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other

Will not fit 1999 Johnson

The website says it will fit a 1999 Johnson 90 four cylinder engine. It won't have a Johnson 90 horse with ignition coils stacked on top of each other, the boots on those spark plug leads are too long, they don't seat properly and you can't install the top ignition coil afterwards. You should get shorter boots for the ignition side, and boots should also be shorter for the spark plug side.

Pros
  • Cable
Cons
  • Fits
