Jolux Recessed Downlight Equivalent Installation Review

This Industrial and Scientific lighting component was a huge disappointment. As my tests showed the downlight equivalent installation was both overpriced and unreliable. While the initial installation may seem easy, it quickly became apparent that the component was cheaply made and prone to breaking. This is a great replacement for old caps in a newly renovated basement. They have been tuned to 5 or 6 inches (preset to 5). Just had to loosen 2 set screws and push out the springs, then tighten the screws, screw in the lamp base cap, install the springs and you're done. I used all 6 and it took 15-20 minutes to do everything. I suggest setting the width first on all units if necessary, then they will quickly adjust.
