This e-collar is great and easy to use. Didn't have to use the shock button, but did once. Excellent response to beep and vibration modes. The battery life is very good, especially with the remote control. The collar is waterproof, there is no remote control.

We originally bought this collar for its versatility. We are training a Livestock Guardian puppy so being able to use different settings remotely is crucial. This collar did it! We were able to train the beep as a "return" command and the vibration as a "stop" command, and rarely had to resort to electrocution. We ordered this to improve instant correction for our energetic 4 year old large dog and it has been an excellent tool! It's not bulky on her neck and she didn't seem to change until we started using it! But the results were so helpful that they used the horn to correct their barking/jumping/energized at the wrong time. I can't believe how quickly my dog's behavior has changed. It may be very sensitive, but after a few hits on the lowest settings I was only able to switch to horn. A beep immediately forwards it.
