Pretty good thermometer. I was a bit worried about the accuracy, so I boiled some water and it came within two tenths of a degree of 212, which is about as good as it gets. Two things I really like about this device. First, the tip is small, making it very responsive and easy to pierce with flesh. Second, it's backlit so it's easy to read at night, which is great for after-dark BBQ's. worth your money.
