Description of 🔌 Kalolary 6 Pin PCIe - 2 x PCIe 8 (6+2) Pin, 6PIN to Dual 8PIN Graphics Card PCI-e Express VGA Splitter Power Extension Cable (4 Pack)

PSU UPGRADE SAVER: The video card to power supply cable provides an option for connecting a power supply without an 8 pin PCIe connection for GPU power. PCI EXPRESS POWER CABLE: The adapter connects a PCIe video card with an 8 pin PCIe connection to a power supply with only 6 pin PCIe power connections; Check that your PSU is rated to power the video graphics card. 6 PIN PCIe to DUAL 8 PIN: The male to female adapter cable provides a convenient solution for supplying video graphics card power with an 8 pin connector for GPU cards that require more power. STURDY GRAPHICS CARD: The power cable has an 8 pin male PSU PCIe connector with keyed rails and a female 6 pin PSU PCIe connector with a latch for a secure connection on each end to prevent accidental disconnections. VIDEO GRAPHICS CARD: The power extension cable is compatible with graphics cards with 8 pin PCIe connectors from popular manufacturers such as ASUS, Gigabyte, Radeon, and Sapphire.

Cheaply made, not suitable for gaming.

This adapter popped up and released Magic Smoke when I turned on my system after installation. All connections were solid, the PSU was more than adequate for my setup, all other PSU cables are well made and work great, and my graphics card was fully connected to the motherboard. I was very lucky that my graphics card was not affected and continues to function without any problems.

Pros
  • That's done
Cons
  • That's making me angry

Not 18AWG. Closer to 22AWG, can get about 200W through

Specification: Some say wires are 18AWG or about 1.02mm conductor diameter. I cut and measured several conductors in one of these and sawed 0.67mm (between 21 and 22 AWG). Generous, a conductor came in at 0.69mm. still less than 21 AWG. So you're looking at 5-6 amps per line at 12v. Or let's say about 200 watts across the entire plug. That should be enough for a GTX1070, but a 1080TI under full load can ruin this fork. Aside from that I've used about 5 of these plus as donors to build custom DC

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Excellent product: Accessories and consumables

This is an excellent product. Delivery was great. I will update this post if I find any issues with the product. I use this for my mining business. I recommend this product and the seller.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Working speed

NO PCI-e power extension cable

Counts as a PCI-e power extension cable. To me this means you can take a 6-pin PCI-e cable from your power supply (Corsair in my case) that plugs into your graphics card and use this product as an adapter to convert power and ground into 2 8 split pins. PCI-e slots. nope If you look at 6-pin connectors, the locking pins are on the side, not the top. This does not match any PCI-e cable I have.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not sure

My HP z420 Workstation has a 600W AC adapter that is exclusive to this model of machine. The motherboard has only 18 pins instead of the standard 20 or 24 pins found on standard ATX motherboards. The pins are also electrically different, so I went with this adapter instead. It works like a champ, just plug it straight into the single rail (6 pin ONLY) of my power supply and I can use my nVideo GTX 680. Classified graphics card with the (2) 8-pin connectors my card requires from a 6-pin bus. I…

Pros
  • High test scores for Support and Durability
Cons
  • Clarity

Looks like one of the pins is too big

1/2 plug doesn't sit on the side of the power supply, doesn't connect fully. It looks like one of the pins is too big, has a blob of solder or something. They shouldn't be used at all.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other picks

Not ready for prime time!

The length is just right for connecting a graphics card and riser. although an extra inch wouldn't hurt. The real problem with these and ALL other Revain splitters is their lack of current carrying capacity. Regardless of what another idiot thinks with his own opinion. EACH LEG CABLE MUST RATING AT LEAST 10A. That means the 6-pin end needs to carry at least 20 amps of current. which REQUIRES 14 gauge wire; NOT the cheap 16 and 18 gauge wire that chars and burns during "normal" cryptocurrency…

  • RUGGED GRAPHICS: The power cable features an 8-pin PCIe power connector with keyed guides and a 6-pin PCIe power connector with a locking mechanism at each end for a secure connection to prevent accidental disconnection.
