I have 5 of these and they were excellent. I'm sure the good reviews are based on the original design. Good well made product. So far this is working fine. Relatively easy to mount on the wall. I was going to install it under the kitchen cabinet, but since the cabinet has 1/2 ledge around it (the bottom of the cabinet is 1/2 higher than the edge of the cabinet) I couldn't install it there because of the mega towel rolls that we use does not slide over the device because of this edge.
