Disappointing USB Hub for MacBook Users

Based on my observations, this USB hub failed to deliver on its promises .While it did charge my MacBook the connectivity and data transfer was abysmal. i experienced frequent disconnections and slow transfer speeds, making it difficult to get work done efficiently. The sleek design is the only redeeming quality of this otherwise unreliable product..

Files get corrupted when using this USB hub

This hub is not reliable. I use it with a MacBook and Adobe Lightroom to import photos from an SD card, XQD card or CF card to my primary hard drive and a backup hard drive. About half the time I get a "disk not ejected properly" error message on a MacBook. Then I continued the import and everything seemed fine. However, later when I looked at my photos, many of them were corrupted and unreadable on hard drives. They are perfectly legible on the camera card, which means something happened…
