Easy replacement: Accessories and consumables

Simply remove the back panel, detach the old one and install the new one in reverse order. Two minutes maximum. And now they hold a charge much longer.

Empty after two days of waiting

I put two packs of these batteries in my two Uniden TRU8885-2 tubes and charged them fully. The batteries drain in two days on standby, which is faster than the old ones I threw away.

These batteries are a great replacement for my Uniden Power Max 5

It has been two weeks since I installed these Kastar 1000mah batteries. These batteries are a great replacement for my TRU5885 model Uniden Power Max 5.8Ghz phone with the correct connector configuration, although they were "slightly" smaller than the OEM. My displays are brighter than ever! Happy tourist.

Don't buy this. Will not work.

Purchased to replace the battery in wireless headphones. They won't even last an hour. Typically, other earbuds run 80 hours on AAA batteries alone. These headphones last 10 hours when new. Now with new batteries they only last an hour. Save your money or mail me to save you the headache of trying this for you. They won't work.

Kastar needs to check the connection details. This connection is not what I need/expect for my device. I look forward to Kastar contacting me to resolve this issue and send me another set of batteries. Happy to get back to you with an update: a Kastar rep called and sent in replacement batteries that were still not properly connected. Excellent replacement batteries for Uniden PowerMax 5.8

This isn't the first time I've changed the batteries in my Uniden PowerMax 5.8 phones. They are old! But the lifespan of these phone batteries is the best I've seen. 30 minutes of continuous talk (talk trees and service providers) will not affect the battery gauge. The advertised battery capacity of 1000mAh (which is 10% higher than swapped out batteries) is good, but I like that they give me enough time to talk.
