Works great on dogs

We use two of these as houses for our rabbits. We built floor pans out of corrugated cardboard and lined them with towels. One rabbit easily opened the pin to escape, so we added clips to secure it. Another used a box to pop out (so there were no top boxes for him). When the fur is collected, we vacuum it off the poles. It's a bit bulky for regular cleaning, but it's inexpensive and we've made sure it works. You can seal the ferret hole if it becomes an escape problem.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Nothing here

It's not worth it. good for playpen

Well I've had it for about three hours and the bunnies have already gnawed a hole in the 'mat' which is just heavy plastic. You can buy a whole roll of this at your local Home Depot for around $10. So if you're buying it based on a rug, don't do it. The only thing left to check is the wire plate pin itself. You can't attach a regular water bottle to the outside. So it sucks and more of a problem than anything else. You can find cheaper pens without a matte and save some money.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Sturdy handle, bright color

I bought this to keep rabbits out of a room with blue furniture. Now I use it for my second rabbit. It's almost as strong as the Marshall pen I use on my first rabbit and works well for us. A word of caution: don't use a tarp unless you cover it with something like a sheet or fleece blanket. It's great for sealing under your pet's bedding, but not safe for small animals to chew on. If you are looking for a quality rabbit or guinea pig run in a color other than blue, I recommend the Marshall…

More room for a better run Dogs

This was one of the few 1 inch pens I could find. I have a mini lop baby and was concerned that other ex boyfriends would slip through it too easily. I'm still not sure how best to use this, but for now we're just going to open it up so it can roam around some part of the kitchen for most of the day. Also, it would be a great cage instead of the standard ones, or it could be wrapped around smaller cages for more space. I love how much space it gives it by putting it in part of our kitchen…

It's useless. It stuck together and my ferrets scratched it.

Edited: Our only ferret can now squeeze through bars and run. I'd say this will work for MOST ferrets, but if yours is small they can squeeze into it too. It is very easy to set up and my ferrets have plenty of room to rest. My only little ferret, who seems to go through pretty much everything, thank god doesn't get out. I also agree about the blue carpet. It's useless. It bunches up and my ferrets claw at it until it's locked in and crawl under it. I put an old carpet underneath for more…

I love this arena! I bought it for my bunny, she was really scared of us at first so it was perfect to use to keep her away from areas we didn't want her in yet and so we could give her her safe place, where we could sit and let him get used to us. Now she's a free roaming rabbit and ran out of the room! We still use it to keep her away from the living room TV when we let her run around the house. We also use it when we stay overnight. I would watch your bunny if he were there because when he…

Great solution for ferrets

My two ferrets are happy! Put them in right away with all your toys and they can run and play freely. No their heads can't get stuck in the trellis, everything on the gate is positioned perfectly so they get stuck inside and can't escape the math they brought with them, that's really nice too considering my ferrets aren't potty trained yet because we only got it a few days ago so it's good for easy cleaning, they also seem to find it funny because it sticks to their little feet because it's a…

Great pen, don't waste your time with a plastic mat

This is a great pen I highly recommend. It is very easy to close securely and very easy to fold for storage. My bunnies are very good at dodging, but when all three shutters are closed they never run away. Ties are not required. (They escaped when I only secured a locking point or two, so keep that in mind.) If you need a large play area for your pet, you can even buy two or more of these pens and they have trouble attaching to one another . Friend. I only took off one star because of the…

Great for ferrets! on doors, gates and ramps

I bought a pair of these pens for my 3 ferrets (2 females and 1 male) a little over a year ago. Letting ferrets roam free in your house is like letting a bunch of toddlers roam free in your house and you should take care of them at all times when they are away unless you have a ferret room or a completely ferret-proof home. . There can be multiple ferrets and I knew mine didn't have enough time to play outside of the cage because I didn't always have the energy to watch them, so I bought a few.
