I couldn't install it myself. The light is amazing but one of the caps keeps falling off when the wind blows too hard :/ don't know how to fix it. I also painted them black because the yellow markings didn't match my blue car. Too bad the lid doesn't hold up.

love the set, just what I was looking for. struggles with condensation in a flashlight lens, but it has a connector that helps solve this problem. a bit more expensive than I think they are worth but overall I am very happy I have them.

These lights are so bright it's crazy. They throw light down about 1/4 mile and complement the high beam perfectly. The only downside to them is that the cord tail looks pretty silly because it comes out of the light about 2 inches before the connector, and KC said if I cut and spliced it to lengthen it would void the warranty.

The wiring harness is a joke, I'm shocked at the poor quality of the wiring for such an expensive flashlight. The connections aren't soldered or even in the wire connector, just black tape over the bare wires that are wrapped together, complete crap. I installed mine and after a few days they stopped working and the fuses blew. I'll make my own dishes right. The switch they send you sucks too, cheap cheap crap.

Dude, those things are good. I got the 40 wide beam as a sort of spontaneous fog light and they work great in my modified 3rd gen 4Runner stock bumper. I just aim them low and they are solid. great boxes too. There's something soothing about the solid metal body. the attached trailer is nothing special, but quite useful. the same with the switch. Just received the lights and they are amazing. However, upon opening the box, it turned out that one of the lamps did not have the bracket that came with the kit. Not sure if these are factory refurbished or actually brand new (KC wasn't ordered on them (high beam) but this supplier seems to stock more. Very disappointing for the price paid for them. Wiring seems cheap. The wiring has electrical tape where the shrink tubing should be. The cables have no scuff guard on the connector, only red and black cable, doesn't look professional like you would expect from KC. The switch is a bunch and has been said not to work with the backlight on. There are bubbles on the plastic film of the lights. I bought these high beam headlights for my car about a year and a half ago. I like the all-metal body, solid mounts, easy adjustment, good color and silly brightness. They emit plenty of light out of range of my distant rays, making it easier for me to spot potential wildlife encounters.
