The smallest size was too big for my petite Australian who weighs 16lbs. They weren't tight around her ankles and she was able to take them off. She fell for a walk because of them and completely planted her face. Great quality and durability but will take time to train your dog on how to use them.

These shoes are charming! It took my dog a few minutes to figure out he could walk in it. After that she was fine. The color is perfect, just like in the photo and in the description. They are great for walking on hot pavement to protect their feet. Once she got used to it, she seemed comfortable. They are well made and should last a long time. Very happy with them.
