I was confused when I received the box. Watched how to assemble on YouTube. The bar with the piece is the middle bar, not the main bar. If you remove the end piece, they both go in. The seller must provide this information as this is indeed a very simple installation. I hope this helps anyone who was confused.

I felt compelled to review this due to some negative reviews. I ordered 9 of these because of the price. I didn't have a single mistake on any of the 9. I've used each with two panels of thick theatre-quality Sun Zero pocket curtains and they're perfectly strong and look great. I would buy them again if needed and can recommend them without hesitation.

Taking this out of the box I noticed that one attached end piece was bent/tilted and the other was perfectly fine. The end piece itself was fine, but the metal hole where you attached the piece to the stem was beveled so it couldn't screw straight in. We had to use a small hammer and risked breaking the part just to straighten it. Luckily it worked! Just disappointed that it even came in this condition.

Ok I have them in my living room, love them! I have ordered more for my office, this time I have a longer 130 inch rod. The problem is that the middle bar connecting both sides is wrong. There needs to be a hole on both sides so they can connect, instead it's a hole on one side and a screw on the other. See photo. I ordered two of these and both are the same. Am I confused, am I missing something or is the package wrong? If I'm wrong and someone can help me I'll be happy to update the review…

Good product for large windows. Looks great and goes well with our heavier curtains (black, thick). Light curtains are perfect. In response to a previous review of broken end caps, the white piece with tabs and a bolt connecting the end cap to the stem is installed backwards for some reason. The screw must be unscrewed and turned to the other side of the white cap. This allows the screw to hold more of the end cap, making it more stable. I hope this helps future potential purchases.

The bars look great and have the basic functionality you would expect but have the common issue that the side bar only slides into the center connecting bar, as soon as you open the clasp, it pulls the side bar out of the center link bar. In our case we bought a really wide rod because we have a big window in a big room and the curtain is higher than usual. A chair or stepladder is therefore required to return the bar to its place. The rod is stronger and heavier than I expected. Good fishing rod but there were flaws. 3 mounts are included for starters. As we had a smaller window we didn't need the middle bracket but there are 3 included in the kit, screws and dowels for hanging are also included. Anchors are the cheapest, so if you need anchors I suggest getting stronger ones. The decorative ends are pluggable, they are not screwed into the cornice. This is where my problems started.
