Plugged in (120V AC outlet), smoked straight away and never worked again. Yes, I checked that the DC switch isn't on before plugging it into a 120V outlet. I never bothered to get a replacement because I just went to the store and bought another. The new one has been working great for a few weeks now.

It really works but in my experience the pressure is over 60psi. I got this for our company cars and they need to upgrade to 80psi. It also turns itself off quite often, I think it's a safety feature to keep it from overheating. I started fueling at about 65psi and it ran for about three minutes and then shut off. I guess I had to wait for it to cool down. *** UPDATE *** In the middle of this review my compressor started smoking. It smelled like a short circuit. I will return the product.

This is an amazing little air compressor for inflating car/truck/bike tires. Mine just arrived well packaged and on time. I've used it on 2 cars and it worked perfectly - it took less than a minute to fill up each tire. I particularly like the AC function because it can be operated very conveniently via a garage socket. Coming home from a business trip I found I had a flat tire and one of the main reasons I bought a Kensun 4333087805 is because it how an ac and dc power supply works. Winter cold in my area of the country. Last week I was waiting in LONG lines for "open air" for one of my tires. Ordered and received on 12/30/17; it came fast. Today (12/31/17) my son's tires were low; one is critical at 20 psi! At the local WaWa, 10 cars were waiting for "free air". So we got out my new air compressor and used it on his car with DC power. Purchased in June. It worked fine for 3 months considering it was hardly used in that time. At the end of September, the DC portion of the system stopped working, rendering it unusable in the car. I understand anything mechanical can break, but this has hardly been used - maybe 2 times in DC mode before it stopped working. This is BS for what you keep in your car for emergencies. I chose this pump on purpose because it can run on both AC and DC power. I need it for everything from inflating air mattresses, beach balls, bike tires to giant truck tires. I know a DC pump can't inflate a truck tire to 80psi without burning out. I used this for bike tires and it worked really well.
