Assembled built-in fridge and rewired window air conditioner for cooling. Bought three of these, one for initial temp, one for safe shutdown and one for fan control.

I have used this on a window unit air conditioner to get the temperature below 60 degrees in a temporary fridge. Worked great and this room has a stable temperature of 36 degrees.

Used to create a temperature control output with heating on one side and cooling on the other. It is currently hooked up to a 100w aquarium heater and fan so I can't say how it will hold up to a higher load. The wiring is a bit odd, as other reviewers have pointed out. I had to figure out a little with the schematic. Once I realized that it works like a switch (of course) and you turn on, turn off, it made a lot more sense.

This is a flimsy product with inadequate instructions. The terminals are fragile and do not hold the wires in place - the wires will slip out. Dangerous product in this sense! Not plug and play. You must connect what may have been connected before. Do you want to connect your small 200 watt heater to it - well you have to cut the heating cable - and then it still doesn't work and who knows why as the instructions are vague and written in China. Send back straight away!

When I first received this product I was a bit disappointed with the documentation that came with it. The instructions looked like a photocopy of a photocopy and were difficult to read and understand. After my sous vide system wasn't working properly, I turned to Ketotek for help. They were VERY helpful and helped me figure out why the relay wouldn't close when needed. The instructions are a bit difficult to understand. Accuracy is marginal at best. It could also be my thermometer, the accuracy of which I check well. But for the money it works, and there are some great videos on YouTube showing you how to hook it up. disappointed with my 2 purchases. Wouldn't buy again. But next time I'll make sure I get Fahrenheit instead of Celsius! It was my fault! Update These controllers do not maintain a sufficiently constant temperature for incubation purposes.

I used this on a faulty thermostat on a 1953 Frigidaire fridge. It's accurate and gets the job done at an extremely low price. I only use the "cold" side of the heating/cooling relay kit, but after the initial setup it worked fine for several months. In addition, operating costs have been reduced while maintaining a narrower temperature window. It took a few tries to set it up, but I didn't touch it after that. I used this to replace the built in thermostat in a window air conditioner. Installed the day after receipt and tested with very accurate temperature gauges. It needed a little calibration, but after that the temperature in this room became stable. Powerful enough to control the compressor without an additional relay while the fan runs constantly. I really like this item for the price. I use it to heat my 3D printed case, so I can't say too much about its accuracy, but I do like that you can adjust the on/off range. it is connected to it by default, turns on. I suspect this could be designed for longer term temperature controlled applications so that if there is a temporary power outage on return there is no need to shut down and ruin whatever you are trying to control the temperature.
