Keychron k2 version 2. This is the best we can find at this price

Design: 9.5 Material quality: 10 Light output: 10 Battery: 11. Yes I know but it's 4000mah. This is great mechanical keyboard and I dare say this is one of the best options in terms of value for money. It just looks spectacular in my setup. Look at the photos and videos and decide for yourself.

Loud and thick but works well.

Husband bought this for easy switching between computers and he loves it but the buttons are noisy! For example, he's upstairs in his office and I'm downstairs, and everything is clear here. He also once rebooted one of his computers and the keyboard wouldn't connect via Bluetooth until he logged back in, so it was inconvenient, but once he plugged it in via USB it was usable. The lighting options are not serious, but nice to look at. He's probably fat too. You probably shouldn't use it without

Misleading "wired " name, broken USB ports

This keyboard requires a working battery to function in wired mode, unlike any other keyboard I've had. Because of this, some people might think the keyboard was broken if they used it wired all the time, leading people to throw away an otherwise good keyboard. Because the keyboard needs to be charged, it consumes more power than a regular keyboard, even a regular RGB keyboard. This keyboard overloaded both of my USB ports on my monitor and damaged some cables. I thought I could get over this…

There were problems pairing with the Mac. Support is not responding.

I was so excited to get my hands on this keyboard. It's one of the cleanest keyboards out there, and Mac keycaps are hard to find anywhere else. However, I finally settled on the RK84. I was having trouble pairing with my Mac. It will work and then terminate the connection. I have not had this experience with other mechanical Bluetooth keyboards. I tried contacting support regarding this and it took 2.5 weeks to get the first response. I had since given up and sent it back. The instructions…

The Best Mechanical Alternative for iOS/MacOS

First, let me say that this is my first mechanical keyboard after I switched from the Chicken Style Magic Keyboard, so it's a bit difficult to tell the good from the bad to distinguish . Honestly I can't say anything bad about this board. It's fairly light since I had the plastic frame version, and it's decently compact. I only ordered this board because I was starting to go down the mechanical rabbit hole, so it was one of my first decisions as I'm active in the Apple ecosystem. The Bluetooth…

Great Keyboard!: Accessory

Received this because I was 75% missing the keyboard. I've been using Kira for a few years and before that I had a lousy (but nice) Excalibur 75% kb, this one is very good. The only thing I don't like about the keyboard is: - The light resets when I switch computers or switch to Bluetooth. My keyboard is connected to the KVM switch when I switch KVM to another computer. I don't really like backlit keyboards because I don't use translucent keycaps. So there's no point in turning them on - the…

great for working on the go

I use this mechanical keyboard when I travel to work and use my laptop for a long time. The Bluetooth connection with my Dell laptop works well and is convenient. The size and functionality seems perfect as it's small enough for travel yet contains many of the keys I need for editing and programming documents (arrows, delete, page up, page down, home and end). ABS and looks different thanks to the carbon/white color scheme with orange accents. This color scheme looks a lot better than the gray…

Terrible connectivity and customer support

I bought Keychron K2 (version 2) a few months ago and encountered the following problem: when using the keyboard it suddenly stopped working and the bluetooth driver was removed. . After I fixed my Bluetooth driver, the keyboard didn't detect a Bluetooth connection, but it showed up on my other Bluetooth-enabled devices. My PC can also detect other Bluetooth pairs, so this is not an issue with my PC's Bluetooth connection. The keyboard works great in wired mode, but the main reason I bought…

Black Keycap Legend

Edit: The more I think about it, this keyboard shouldn't have come with those keycaps. Due to the arrangement of the Home/pgup/pgdwn buttons, it is almost impossible to find the key sets. It may be the right size, but it won't be in the right row and it will stick out like a thumb. I've already spent more than the cost of the keyboard to fix this situation. You should only replace the keycaps with those in the non-hot-swap version. Just be prepared for how washed out the black keycaps are…
