Ideal for replacing the original key fob when only the housing is damaged. You transfer the internal electronics from your old key fob to this one. I had the rubber button cover peeled off, so in this replacement I actually just replaced that front panel. I left the back as it had the Cadillac logo on it and this one didn't. This replacement doesn't seem to use rubber on the keys, which should mean it's more durable. So far it's working great! You must also move the emergency key that is pulled

There were a few cracks on the front of my remote control next to the buttons. I ordered it. I replaced the internals and key with what I had. Got it back with a new battery. He works like a champ. Will definitely buy more (if necessary). On the back of the case was what appeared to be a battery smudge. I chose to use my old rear end because it has Cadillac badging on it. This is very much.

All but the rear half and non-rubbered fairing are exact replicas. I only needed one pad as my regular one was "chipped" with keys and such while I had it in my pocket. I disassembled the blocks and the plastic button cover perfectly replaced the damaged silicone cover. My Cadillac badge on the back is intact and my OEM key fob looks brand new now. I can confidently hand over my key to the valet again. no more shame Life is good.

Works great. It's not as heavy as the OEM version, which I think is a plus. Also, it seems more durable without the rubber coating. My key went in perfectly and the electronics for the original were incredibly easy to swap out. The only downside I have is that not only does it lack an emblem (quite understandable) but it's not just flush. There is a centimeter-sized hole in it, into which the emblem fits. This is gonna drive me crazy Flat back would be better

Easy to replace the old one, remove the original and put this in place. I read several reviews complaining about the logo on the back of the keychain. The reason I bought this was because the front of my key fob was worn out, I could replace the inside and use my old logo on the back. This keychain weighs less than the original, which is a plus for me, and it still looks great. Even if there are coverage issues for the next year or so, it's still a better option than service at a Cadillac…
