Fits 2807 Mustang GT

Fits 2007 Mustang GT. I've been using it for over a year with no problems. I bought a small 3D Mustang sticker on ebay, now the key almost looks like a native one.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Worked for Ford Expedition EL 2010 onwards.

Worked to lock/unlock Ford Expedition EL 2010 onwards. I programmed them from the car myself, I didn't need a dealer. However, two existing working keys are required.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I don't remember but something happened

Go to a good locksmith!

Looks and feels identical to the original key - 2009 Mercury Mariner. The locksmith literally cut and programmed them in about 5 minutes. He mentioned that many people buy "cheap ones" online, but he was surprised that they worked 100% right away. $50 to cut and program both, so now I have two in addition to the original.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some issues

Well made keys replacing a separate OEM key and remote

We bought a 2011 Ford Focus which came with an OEM key and remote. Not liking this setup and wanting to have multiple backups, I bought these keys. I took them to a local locksmith and for another $75 he cut both keys and programmed them into the car with no problem. It was about half the price a dealer would charge and now I can add/program the keys myself if needed. They appear to be well made and should last a while.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Exterior

Worked but longer than OEM

It seems to be working. I have yet to program the locks, but I was able to cut and program them (using the Ford manual) for the PATS security system (I believe it's called) in the ignition. Both keys started the car. I removed the star because they weren't as long as the factory key, so most key cutters wouldn't work. I finally found a nationally recommended auto mechanic in a big city that uses a laser cutter (whatever it is) and they did it quickly and cheaply.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • functionality

Works great in interior

Taurus 2011. First programmed the remote (many items online about this) and then carved the keys for free at Home Depot. Then use the OHD ELMconfig OBD2 interface box (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F0GVBWY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and the free ForScan key programming software. Worked great the first time. The key shaft is slightly longer than the original, but not enough to really feel it. Appears to be of good build quality. The time will show.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Available in black only

The buttons work great even with small problems.

These remote keys work great when cut and programmed (programming seems to cost $55-$65 in Milwaukee). They must be pressed firmly for the buttons to work. Also, I can't close a plastic case without a seam gap on one side or the other. Maybe if I tried to squeeze the plastic tighter with pliers, but I was afraid I would break the plastic. I can live with less than perfect problems because Ford's perfect factory keys would cost me $310 for 2 including programming.

Pros
  • Certificate GOLS
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Keys work well: Interior

A haircut at a Ford dealership cost me about $22. After that, according to online instructions, I programmed the keys for the ignition and security system. Make sure you are given two (2) sets of programming instructions. One set of instructions programs the key fob for the ignition but not the security system. The second programs the key fob for the security/alarm system and locks/unlocks the doors. If you do neither, the key can be used to manually unlock the door but not the security/alarm…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price
