WOW! I went to a key store and they wanted $80 for a key so I ordered this set of keys and remotes for a 2008 Silverado. The keys fit perfectly and the programming guide is easy to follow. The buttons feel solid, the remotes seem to be of lower quality than the original but still solid with concave and convex buttons making them easy to use without looking. I programmed remote start into my Silverado (came with wiring, just needed a few finishing touches) and bought new remote start fobs. Key fobs work great, but the keys are very cheap. I work at a dealership and even the parts guys were reluctant to cut them. You could tell just by touching how cheaply they were made. As a result, they could be cut, but they only lie in the desk drawer as emergency keys. It feels like they can tear and break easily. Positive side? The photos work great!

I bought my Suburban '08 with only one key and tag, the dealer wanted over $100 for the second key only because it was a chip key. Got 2 keys and 2 key fobs here, my local hardware store has not cut keys due to liability issues they have had with broken keys in the past. They work fine without the FOB key but the most important part i.e. The key is perfectly cut and turns the lock and ignition but does not program the car to start which is the most important feature of replacement keys. There is no way to contact the seller here to see if they can fix the problem. I can only return the keys but honestly how do I do that after I've already cut them? However, I took the key blanks to two locksmiths and the first one had to give me the keys back because the key literally jumped out of the car when he cut it the first time. He didn't think they were real metal and too easy to cut. Don't waste your time and money buying these things. I ended up having to buy a new chip for each key and the RKE option on 1 of the 2 fobs doesn't work. Locksmith #1 cut the blanks for the keys but did not program the keys. The mechanic programmed 2 new fobs but deprogrammed the original fob. The mechanic was unable to program the smart keys. They're great, they look great and they're perfect for everything except remote start if that feature isn't already enabled in your car. Beware owners of cars 2011 and newer.
